On June 7, Oregon, Wis.-based One Community Bank President and CEO Steve Peotter, Senior Market President Dan Carey, and Aaron Anderson of treasury management and business development attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the OCB-financed The Legacy Hotel in Green Bay, Wis.

The bank is funding both the first mortgage construction loan and Property Assessed Clean Energy financing for the project. PACE Wisconsin is a statewide commercial property assessed clean energy program. One Community Bank was recognized as being No. 1 in PACE financing statewide last year.

The Legacy Hotel is in the Legends District on the former site of the Brett Favre Steakhouse, within walking distance of both Lambeau Field and the Resch Center. The hotel is expected to be an upscale luxury boutique with 64 studio suites, 11 classic one-bedroom suites and 2 grand penthouse suites that will also serve as a social center, with a wedding venue, rooftop bar, coffee shop, fitness center and other amenities.

“As a community bank that believes in sustainability, we are committed to doing our part to support renewable energies and socially responsible business decisions,” Peotter said. “We are thrilled to support this project.”
