Pathward Financial elects Christopher Perretta to board

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Pathward Financial elected Christopher Perretta as a board member.

 Perretta is a member of the corporate governance and nominating committees on the boards of both Pathward Financial and its subsidiary, Pathward, N.A. He also serves on the bank’s risk and credit committee.  

Perretta has decades of executive experience. From 2017-19, he served as chief information and operations officer at MUFG Americas Holding Corp. and its U.S. banking subsidiary, MUFG Union Bank, N.A., San Francisco. He is a board member of business technology firm NetScout Systems, Inc., Westford, Ma., and Advanced Cyber Security Center, Bedford, Ma. Perretta has a Bachelor of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, and a Master of Science degree from Syracuse University in New York. 

“Having held multiple positions as the chief information officer, [Perretta] is in a unique position to help us bolster our IT and cybersecurity capabilities,” said Board Chair Douglas Hajek.
