     Lucille Nickolay was honored Dec. 3 for 70 years of continuous service to the State Bank of New Prague, Minn.

     Nickolay didn’t plan on a life-long career in banking. She had been offered a scholarship to attend a secretarial school after graduating from New Prague High School in 1940. Due to the cost of room and board, however, Nickolay didn’t attend. Within six months, an opening came up at the bank for a bookkeeper and bank management checked with the high school . . .
