Fred Green will take over as president of Great Northern Bank, St. Michael, Minn., on October 2. He succeeds founding president Paul Ederer, who will retire. Green is already the bank’s chief executive officer.
Before joining Great Northern Bank Green was a senior vice president at BankFirst Corp., Sioux Falls, S.D., and a managing director at Piper Jaffray, Inc., Minneapolis. He had earlier worked at First Bank Minneapolis (now U.S. Bank) and Brenton Bank & Trust Company, Clarion, Iowa . . .
