AMCORE Financial of Rockford, Ill., announced it has eliminated 116 jobs, including president and chief operating officer Don Wilson and executive vice president for the commercial banking group, Rick Stiles. At yearend, the $5.1 billion AMCORE had 1,266 employees.
Charles G. Kim has been named chief financial officer of Commerce Bancshares, Inc., Kansas City, Mo. A. Bayard Clark will relinquish his duties as CFO on July 1 and retire from the company in January.
