Port Washington State Bank hires VP, bank secrecy officer

Wisconsin-based Port Washington State Bank named Joe Loebl vice president and bank secrecy officer. 

Loebl has 17 years of experience in financial services, including 13 as a Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering compliance professional.

Loebl has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University, Granville, Ohio. Loebl, who is certified by the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, has a certificate in fraud prevention from the American Banking Association. 

“We’re very happy to have someone with [Loebl’s] credentials and tenure in this role,” said President and Chief Operating Officer James Schowalter. “[Loebl] has focused on continuous education throughout his career, something we value at PWSB.”
