Prevail Bank donates $37,000 to local organizations 

Medford, Wis.-based Prevail Bank donated $37,000 to nearly a dozen local organizations this spring, including:

  • $10,000 to the Habitat for Humanity of Chippewa Valley to purchase needed materials to help build low-income housing for families in need. 
  • $7,500 to Baraboo Area Homeless Shelter to cover operating and utility expenses, including salaries, of a homeless shelter.
  • $5,000 to the Northwoods Players Community Theatre to cover expenses for sound-proofing, refinishing the stage, and installing LED lighting in the Phillips High School Auditorium.  
  • $5,000 to the School District of Wisconsin Rapids to help build a quadplex with two baseball and two softball diamonds.
  • $3,500 to the Friends of Baraboo Park for the construction of a splash pad in Attridge Park.  
  • $2,500 to Fall Creek Area Foundation through its Charitable Contribution program for a new youth ball field in Keller Park. 
  • $1,000 to the Medford Area School District for outdoor play and learning structures, including an all-inclusive playground equipment, music equipment, basketball hoops, and a pickleball court for Stetsonville Elementary School and nearby residents. 
  • $1,000 to Evolving Wellness to support its teen center and free teen resilience programming for youth struggling with personal identity issues, bullying, depression, and other challenges. 
  • $500 to the Northcentral Technical College Foundation to cover the tuition expenses of a low- to moderate-income college student. 
  • $500 to the Wisconsin Rapids Boxing Club. 
  • $500 to the Phillips Moose Lodge to purchase a Chromebook, ensure it can be loaded with educational programs, then raffled at a children’s bingo event during the city’s annual Fall Festival.
