Prevail Bank donates to two nonprofits

Medford, Wis.-based Prevail Bank recently donated to two local nonprofits, including: 

  •  $1,000 to the United Way in Wisconsin Rapids. The donation were a result of the bank’s Community Shred Day, and were gifted to the United Way of South Wood & Adams County. The bank, local nonprofit Bank-A-Count and the public donated a total of $2,306 by pledging a dollar for every pound of paper shredded.
  • $1,000 to Marshfield Area Special Olympics Agency to coordinate and host a dance for individuals with special needs in 2023-24. The funds were also part of the bank’s Charitable Contributions program. “The program is available for local nonprofits that help local people in need, especially those with low-to-moderate incomes; stimulate communities financially; and/or enhance the standard of living of those less fortunate,” the bank stated.
