Prevail Bank matching funds campaign nets nearly $21K

Prevail Bank’s annual holiday matching funds campaign gifted $20,885 to nine local nonprofits. Of the total donations, $13,763 was from public donations and $7,122 was from the bank. 

Each branch of the Wausau, Wis.-based bank chose a nonprofit to match public donations up to $1,000.

Donations included: 

  • $4,506 to Marshfield Rotary for meals for the Ronald McDonald House.
  • $4,290 to the Wisconsin Rapids Family Center. 
  • $3,095 to the Owen-Withee Food Pantry. Of that, the Owen-Withee Lions Club contributed $1,000. 
  • $2,420 to the Children’s Wisconsin Child Advocacy Center in Wausau.  
  • $2,070 to Sauk County Children’s Giving Tree.
  • Eau Claire County Department of Human Services’ Children’s Giving Tree received 149 gifts totaling $2,160. 
  • $1,020 to the Loggers United Booster Club. 
  • $842 to Operation Bootstrap for the Portage County holiday basket project. 
  • $482 to the Taylor County Supportive Housing homeless shelter.
