Wisconsin-based Prevail Bank donates to five local nonprofits

Medford, Wis.-based Prevail Bank recently donated to five nonprofits, including:

  •  $5,000 to Baraboo (Wis.) Area Homeless Shelter to remodel the facility’s kitchen. The funds were part of Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions program for local nonprofits to help people in need. 
  • $5,000 through the Charitable Contributions program to Hope Gospel Mission to support its building and expansion plans, doubling their short-term homeless shelter for men in Eau Claire and Chippewa counties to 24 beds from 12. 
  • $2,306 through its Community Shred Day for the United Way of South Wood & Adams County. The total included $1,000 from the bank, $1,000 from local commercial printer Bank-A-Count and public donations. 
  • $1,000 to the Marshfield Area Special Olympics Agency to coordinate and host a dance for people with special needs this year and in 2024. 
  • $500 to the Historic Preservation Association of Marshfield to develop a website and purchase listening devices for museum visitors.
