CEO and co-founder of Adlumin Robert Johnston recaps the company’s roots in investigating the hack of the 2016 Democratic National Committee email leak, how gaps in cybersecurity affect banks, and what impact the pandemic has had on the importance of remote and cloud-based technology.
“Technology is becoming much more prevalent in banking…Everything is becoming third-partied out,” Johnston said. “The bank is becoming more and more open, which is great for consumers and customers, but traditionally when you become more and more open, you’re expanding your attack surface.”
As part of that process, Adlumin helps banks integrate their cores into the security and compliance ecosystem, he said.
