Poplar Bluff, Mo.-based Southern Bank has added David McClain to its board.
McClain owns and operates an insurance office centering on home, auto and life insurance products.
He received an undergraduate degree in business management in 2007 from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro. He also has a master’s degree in public administration from Arkansas State.
“[McClain] is a great addition to our team,” said Greg Steffens, board chair of the $3.1 billion bank. “His track record in business and community involvement really speaks for itself, and we’re confident that his presence in the Jonesboro community will be a great asset to us. We have grown our business in Jonesboro significantly over recent years, but [McClain] will help us identify even more opportunities to serve that market.”
