Coldwater, Mich.-based Southern Michigan Bancorp appointed Travis Hampton as a board member.
Hampton is the owner of the Coldwater-based Value Max Products, an international merchandise and health and beauty products supplier for retailers and distributors.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, where he majored in finance and minored in accounting.
“As a prominent business leader known locally and internationally, Hampton brings extensive experience and a commitment to community in his role as a director for Southern,” said Southern Michigan Bancorp Chair and CEO John Castle. “It is my privilege to welcome (Hampton) to our board.”
Southern Michigan Bancorp is the holding company of Southern Michigan Bank & Trust.
