Fargo, N.D.-based Bell Bank signed a brand ambassador agreement with Minnesota native, Stanley Cup winner and Minnesota Wild hockey star Matt Cullen.
Cullen will be featured in advertising and social media, host select customer meet-and-greet events, and act as a spokesperson for Bell.
“Matt is already such a great ambassador for the Red River Valley and the whole state of Minnesota, which are Bell Bank’s core markets,” said Michael Solberg, president and CEO of Bell Bank. “Matt’s work with us will help build brand awareness, especially in our growing Twin Cities market.”
Solberg said the brand ambassador role is not new to Bell, which sponsors professional golfers Tom Hoge and Amy Olson, as well as The Blenders holiday tour. Former Fargo Mayor Bruce Furness also worked for Bell after his retirement from the City of Fargo, attending business and community events on behalf of the company.
