St. Paul, Minn.-based Stearns Bank hired Amber Gerstung as chief deposit officer.
Gerstung has 23 years of experience in banking and financial services, most recently as senior managing director and head of embedded payments at Silicon Valley Bank. Gerstung previously spent a decade at Wells Fargo as senior vice president, treasury management consultant.
Gerstung, who will be based in Minneapolis, has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
