Stephenson National Bank hosts collection drive for local nonprofits

Marinette, Wis.-based The Stephenson National Bank & Trust hosted a collection drive in October and November to kick off the holiday season as part of its Chairman’s Challenge.

According to a press release, the bank’s branch in Menominee, Wis., donated collected items to the Marinette Primary School; Oconto office gave to the Oconto County Commission on Aging, Inc.,; Pembine office donated to the Niagara, Wis.-based Karen’s Food Pantry; Crivitz office gave to the Crivitz Food Pantry; Wausaukee office donated to Pastor Fred’s Food Pantry; Green Bay LSO presented food to the Fostering Futures Program with CASA of Brown County; and Marquette office gave to JJ Packs, which provides food for children in need on weekends. The Marinette office also held a company-wide silent auction which raised more than $2,300 for local food pantries.

“This year, it marks our 148th anniversary and I can think of no better way to celebrate this milestone than by giving back, because the success of the bank has always stemmed from our community,” said President and CEO Daniel Peterson. “Our most important mission is to help our customers and the community in achieving their goals — no matter what they may be.”
