Wisconsin-based Ixonia Bank hired Steve McGuire as senior vice president of commercial lending.
McGuire has more than four decades of commercial banking experience, most recently as Wisconsin commercial real estate market manager for a national bank.
McGuire has a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Park College, Chicago, and an MBA from DePaul University, Chicago. “I chose to join Ixonia Bank in order to get back to my roots in community banking,” he said. “Local decision-making under the leadership of my long-time friend and colleague, [Ixonia Bank CEO Greg Larson], made this an easy decision.”
“[McGuire] is widely viewed as one of the best, if not the best, CRE lenders in the Wisconsin market and has an excellent track record with real estate investors,” Larson added.
