TS Bank in Atlantic, Iowa, recently donated $1,000 to the Nishna Valley (Iowa) Family YMCA’s annual campaign. The donation is expected to benefit the organization’s after-school program, which provides nutritious meals to children up to the age of 18 in Cass County (Iowa) and the surrounding area.
The after-school meal program started the second week of January and is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Nishna Valley Family YMCA Director Dan Hayes said the goal is to increase the program to five days a week.
“The food program provides a complete meal, including all five essential components of a healthy diet,” said Dan Hayes, director of the Nishna Valley Family YMCA. “… We are thankful for TS Bank’s support.”
