Treynor, Iowa-based TS Bank recently donated $10,000 to Charles E. Lakin YMCA Family Park in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The YMCA Family Park, which opened in 2017, includes an outdoor amenity area for summer youth camps and the Early Learning Center. The park includes a covered pavilion, sport courts, walking path, greenspace, play features and additional parking.
“The generous gift from TS Bank has allowed the YMCA to provide a place for the Council Bluffs community to gather and connect, for families to move and play, as well as for individuals to exercise and relax,” said Amanda Sindelar, executive director for the YMCA of Greater Omaha, Charles E. Lakin Campus. “The space also allows for YMCA summer day camp and afterschool kids to experience fun and fitness outdoors in a safe place. The YMCA is excited to continue to use the park as a space to bring the community together, now and into the future.”
