UMB Bank promotes 2 senior leaders

Kansas City, Mo.-based UMB Financial Corp. promoted Dominic Karaba to president of commercial banking and Uma Wilson to chief information and product officer.

Both have decades of experience in banking and financial services. Karaba has more than 27 years of experience in business banking. He has been with UMB since 2013. Karaba has a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Wash., and a graduate degree in banking and bank leadership from Pacific Coast Graduate School of Banking, Bellevue, Wash.

 Wilson has more than 20 years of financial service industry experience. She has been with UMB since 2006. Wilson received a bachelor’s degree in computer science and history from the University of Madras in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
