WaterStone opening Milwaukee branch

Wauwatosa, Wis.-based WaterStone Bank announced that it will open a new branch location in Milwaukee at 6801 W. Oklahoma Ave., its first in the city.

The branch, WaterStone’s 14th overall, will take over an existing building and is slated to open this fall.

“WaterStone Bank has been an active lender, and has provided community support in the City of Milwaukee for many years,” said Doug Gordon, president and CEO of WaterStone Bank. “We are excited to establish our first branch in the city where we can provide total banking solutions to its citizens and businesses.”

WaterStone Bank recently opened two new branches in 2019 in West Allis and Oak Creek, Wis. 

The $2.2 billion WaterStone was founded in 1921. It reported net income in the second quarter of $20.9 million, up from $9.6 million a year prior and $6 million in the previous quarter.
