Julie Wilcox is senior vice president of marketing, brand management and communications for Grand Rapids State Bank in Grand Rapids, Minn. She spent the bulk of her career working in media and account management at various advertising agencies throughout the United States before moving back to Minnesota in 2013. Julie grew up in West Central Minnesota. She earned an undergraduate degree in business administration from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and an MBA-marketing from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Julie’s community involvement is both national and local. After her oldest daughter was diagnosed with several life-threatening food allergies, she became a passionate advocate for people with food allergies. She has served on the national board of FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education) since 2009. Julie also serves on the board of the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation and Minnesota Lakes Bank. Julie and her husband, Noah, have five daughters. They love spending time on the lake, traveling, cooking, skiing and are both passionate advocates for the community banking industry.
Kristi Poling is marketing and creative services manager for Grand Rapids State Bank in Grand Rapids, Minn., and its sister bank, Minnesota Lakes Bank in Delano, Minn. She joined Grand Rapids State Bank in 2015. Kristi attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities College of Design and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design with a minor in art. Her education in design was heavily focused on user experience, identity and branding. In her free time, Kristi enjoys yoga, baking and volunteering for Kinship of Greater Twin Cities. She lives in Minneapolis with her boyfriend, Cale, and their dog, Frankie.
