Lincoln, Neb.-based West Gate Bank promoted Kay Bartek to senior vice president, retail banking.
Bartek is taking over for Doug Carey who is retiring at the end of 2022 following a 45-year career in the banking industry, including the last 20 years at the $1 billion West Gate where he led the retail banking team.
Bartek joined West Gate Bank five years ago as the branch manager of the West Gate Bank Center location. In 2020, she was named SVP, Lincoln retail market manager. A graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Bartek has more than 30 years of banking experience.
