Wisconsin bank donated $158K to local nonprofits in ’24

The Stephenson National Bank & Trust in Wisconsin donated more than $158,000 in scholarships and monetary donations to local nonprofits last year.

One of the recipients, community nonprofit CASA of Menominee/Marinette, Wis., used the donation to assist two more children in need. The Little River (Wis.) Fire Department expects to use the donation to upgrade its gear washing machine.

The bank’s donation to Bread by the Bay Food Pantry will be used to provide eggs, produce and meat to those in need.

“At SNBT, our commitment to the community is at the heart of everything we do,” said President and CEO Greg Salmen. “We believe that by supporting local nonprofits, we can help create a brighter future for everyone. Our contributions are more than just financial; they represent our dedication to fostering growth, education, and well-being in the communities we proudly serve.”

The Stephenson National Bank & Trust recently announced it had donated nearly $43,400 to area youth programs since 2020 through a program that links donations to total bank deposits. Last year, the bank distributed $7,820 equally to five local youth programs through its Hometown Giving Back initiative.
