Wisconsin Bank & Trust hires new CEO

Wisconsin Bank & Trust, Madison, Wis., a subsidiary of Heartland Financial USA Inc., hired Brent Giles as its new CEO.

Effective May 22, Giles will become the CEO at the $1.4 billion bank, moving from Kansas City, Mo., where he was the CEO and chair of BankLiberty.
“I look forward to leading the Wisconsin Bank & Trust team and working closely with our customers as we emerge from these challenging times and build a stronger and more vibrant future for Wisconsin families and businesses,” Giles said.

Giles has more than three decades of banking experience, including in commercial and consumer banking, strategic leadership and teambuilding. In addition to his leadership positions at BankLiberty, Giles has held positions of chair, president and CEO of Liberty Bancorp, Inc., also in Kansas City, Mo.

Giles graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and an MBA.
