Manitowoc, Wis.-based Bank First recently marked the opening of its branch in Fond du Lac, Wis.
The branch, at 825 W. Johnson St., replaces a previous office of the bank at 245 N. Peters Ave., which was originally part of Hometown Bank before it merged with Bank First in February 2022.
The building includes energy-efficient technology and recycled materials along with a collection of art from local artists. The Dec. 19 grand opening included Bank First representatives, project partners, community members, city officials and the local Chamber of Commerce, Envision Greater Fond du Lac.
“With the completion of this project, Bank First has consolidated its operations at Peters Avenue into the new, centrally located branch on West Johnson Street, offering enhanced services in a state-of-the-art facility,” according to the $4.3 billion bank.
The bank also recently broke ground on a branch in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. The branch, which is expected to open in late spring, is expected to be the bank’s 27th in Wisconsin.
