McFarland State Bank, McFarland, Wis., added an office in Middleton to offer mortgage services, as well as some retail and commercial services.

The $475 million bank celebrated its expansion with a grand opening celebration on Mar. 10, which was attended by employees, families and community members. Visitors from Madison, Middleton, Waunakee, Sun Prairie and McFarland gathered for bag toss and snacks at the office, located on Greenway Boulevard.

Specializing in providing home lending services, the Middleton office will contribute to McFarland’s expanding mortgage department; it will house five mortgage lenders, two underwriters and two processors.

Realtors were invited to a separate reception on Mar. 8.

“The Middleton community is growing in so many positive ways and we’re thrilled to be a part of this story,” said Rob Stafslien, the bank’s vice president.

Limited checkings, savings and certificate of deposit services, and commercial services are available at the Middleton office only by appointment or through video conferences.

There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Apr. 17 at the Middleton Chamber of Commerce.

“Our experienced team is excited to be part of this community,” Stafslien said, “We look forward to serving as a trustworthy financial resource for all of Middleton and beyond.”
