Wisconsin’s Peoples Bank announces 23 promotions

Wausau, Wis.-based Peoples Bank announced nearly two-dozen promotions for 2025.

  • Jessica Brown to CFO and executive vice president. 
  • Robert McPherson to EVP, risk management
  • Erik Rajek to EVP, commercial banking group leader 
  • Jeff Saxton to EVP, retail banking group leader
  • Tina Seidl to EVP, human resources
  • Katie Tolokken to EVP, chief operating officer. 
  • Peter Kramer to senior vice president and commercial banker. Kramer has been with Peoples for two decades, and is a member of Peoples’ senior credit group and officers loan committee. 
  • Gayle Boettcher to SVP and treasury management leader. Boettcher, who has been with Peoples for nearly 20 years, has built a department that supports 5,000 active accounts and more than $600,000 in annual fee income to the bank.  
  • Craig Laue to SVP and northern market leader and Jeff Musa to SVP and southeastern market leader. 
  • Kevin Ile to vice president and community banker. Ile is credited with helping Peoples Bank open an LPO in Dane County in early 2024.  
  • Matt Maigatter to VP and commercial banker. “Maigatter has been an integral part of the growth of the bank’s southeast market, and has constantly produced new money loans in the range of $7 million-$8 million,” according to Peoples Bank.  
  • Michael Poniewaz to VP and senior credit officer.
  • Danielle Ballschmeider to branch manager and officer.  
  • Jacob Grell to private banking portfolio manager and officer. 
  • Kari Krahn to treasury management sales representative and officer. 
  • Joe Stiehm to senior marketing strategist and officer.
  • Kevin Daniels to assistant vice president and IT systems manager. 
  • Eric Humfeld to AVP and senior controller. 
  • Vicki Mauritz to AVP and CSR area manager. 
  • Kody McHugh to AVP and credit manager. 
  • Michael Merritt to AVP and commercial banker. 
  • Amanda Schessler to AVP and commercial portfolio supervisor. 
  • Casey Jensen to AVP and information security officer.
