Port Washington State Bank donated $32,000 to North Shore United Soccer Club to spark participation in the sport.
The bank has sponsored Port Washington State Bank Soccer Park, the official home of the club, since 2013. “The club helps more than 1,500 local players acquire new skills, learn about teamwork and maintain physical well-being by offering leagues, recreational programs and more,” according to the $906 million bank.
“Investing in our youth and providing them with opportunities to grow and thrive through sports is something we are passionate about,” added James Schowalter, Port Washington State Bank president and chief operating officer. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact this donation will have on our community.”
