Wisconsin’s Prevail Bank donates $67,500 to local nonprofits

Medford, Wis.-based Prevail Bank donated $67,650 to 20 Wisconsin-based nonprofits last month through its semiannual Charitable Contributions program. The donations were to nonprofits that assist low-to-moderate income households, invest in communities, and/or provide financial literacy or increase the standard of living of the underprivileged. 

Organizations included:

  • Marshfield.-based Companion Day Services, Marshfield Area Community Foundation-Bream Park and Soup or Socks.
  • Eau Claire, Wis.-based Feed My People.
  • Wausau-based First Presbyterian Church-Free Clinic, Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Northcentral Area and Hmong American Center.
  • Baraboo, Wis.-based Habitat for Humanity Wisconsin River Area-Home Repair Program.
  • Medford VFW Post 5729-Building Project, Pathway Home of South Central Wisconsin, Medford Area School District-Junior Achievement Programming and Medford-based Stepping Stones. 
  • Phillips, Wis.-based Logger’s United Booster Club and St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantries.
  • $5,000 to The Taylor House, a homeless shelter serving Taylor County, Wis., to support operations and client services. 
  • Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Portage & Wood Counties Area 
  • United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties
  • Stevens Point-based Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum
  • The town of Omega’s Pioneer Park
  • School District of Owen Withee-Youth Wrestling.
