NFR Communications, publisher of BankBeat and BankNews magazines, BankBeat.biz, and numerous contract publications, offers paid editorial internships in Spring and Fall. In addition to a great learning experience with an established publishing company, earn a respectable hourly wage. Successful interns will have the opportunity to continue working for the company on a contract or freelance basis.
Ideal candidates will currently be studying for, or have recently earned, a bachelor's degree in journalism or a related writing/communications field. Editorial intern will fully integrate with editorial staff to produce stories and earn bylined clips by the conclusion of the internship.
Strong candidates will have a demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects; strong writing and proofreading skills for content and grammar; interest in understanding the writing and publishing process; the ability to work alone or as part of a team; some experience working as a student writer, and experience creating content for social media sites. Graphic design or photography skills a plus. Duties include research and analysis; news tracking; pre-interview development; fact-checking; proofing; social media content deployment; copywriting and editorial support; team writing; story development; interviewing; graphics development and social media monitoring.

Publication Designer to its team. As Publication Designer, you will ensure the quality and
timely production of the company’s custom magazines, as well as add critical support to
advertising, marketing and promotional materials for the company. This is the perfect
opportunity for a talented graphic designer to specialize in a rewarding career, and work
alongside an energetic team of highly-skilled creative professionals.
To succeed in this position, you must possess strong organizational, time management
and project management skills, and bring proven experience working with a variety of
internal and external client design projects, including multi-page publications. You must
be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
