Steve Gahler has been named executive vice president, chief marketing officer of Heritage Bank, Olympia, Wash.
Gahler, who will be based in Seattle, joins Heritage with over 23 years of marketing experience and has held leadership positions at a number of companies located in Seattle. Most recently, he was with IMG College working with the University of Washington. He was also CEO of Pinnion, a tech company offering a CMS and audience engagement platform.
Gahler has served on numerous boards, including the board of commissioners of the Seattle Sports Commission, as president of the Seattle Keiretsu Forum Northwest, an Angel & PE Investment Group, and as a board member of the Washington State Association of Broadcasters. He is also a member of the Washington Technology Industry Association.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
