Congress has passed financial reform legislation. Now what?
Well, we know that the regulatory agencies will be spending the next two to three years writing rules to implement the 2,300-page legislation. Certainly the associations and their respective members will work hard to be a part of this crucial process.
But I wonder if the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 is really the beginning of something more than 5,000 pages of new rules and . . .
