First Internet names president

Nicole Lorch

Nicole Lorch has been named president of First Internet Bank, Fishers, Ind., and its holding company, in addition to her role as chief operating officer. She takes over from David Becker, who will remain as chair and CEO of both the bank and First Internet Bancorp.

Lorch joined First Internet Bank at its launch in February 1999 as director of marketing. She has held roles of progressive responsibility; she was appointed executive vice president and COO in 2017. Previously, she held marketing roles at Virtual Financial Services and re:Member Data Services.

She serves on advisory boards for the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership and the Hamilton County Community Foundation. She has a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University, Greencastle, Ind., and an MBA from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business, Bloomington. She is also a graduate of the CBA Executive Banking School.

The $4.2 billion First Internet is a digital-only bank which was founded in 1999.
