The “move your money” campaign launched by the Huffington Post web site has caught the attention of legislators, at least in Illinois. State Senator Dan Kotowski (D-Park Ridge) and State Representative Jim Sacia (R-Pecatonica) introduced resolutions into the Illinois Senate and House urging residents and local government units to transfer funds to local community banks from large banks based outside the state.
