Acting Comptroller named
John G. Walsh has been named Acting Comptroller of the Currency, replacing John Dugan who left as Comptroller on August 14. Walsh was chief of staff and public affairs for the OCC, a position he held since fall of 2005. Walsh joined the OCC from the Group of 30, a consulting firm that focuses on international economic and monetary affairs.
