Iowa Superintendent of Banking Thomas B. Gronstal was elected chairman-elect of the Conference of State Bank Supervisors for 2009-2010. As chairman-elect, he will automatically assume the chairmanship in May 2010.
Gronstal has served as Iowa Superintendent of Banking since February 2002. Born in Carroll, Iowa, he graduated from Kuemper High School, Carroll, Iowa in 1969.
