Prevail Bank donates $2,500 to buy winter jackets for children

Medford, Wis.-based Prevail Bank donated $2,500 last month to Stevens Point Fire Fighters Local 484 Charitable Foundation to buy winter jackets for elementary students from 16 schools in Portage County.

“We’re a community bank that is passionate about economic development, financial stability, and the welfare and growth of individuals, families, and businesses,” said Branch Manager Kori Miller.

“There are many elementary-aged students who do not own a winter jacket within the Stevens Point Public School District,” added Jason Pettis, chair of the Stevens Point Fire Fighters Local 484 Charitable Foundation. “Operation Warm’s goal is to provide every student in need a new winter jacket. Prevail Bank’s donation helps ensure that goal is met.”
