State charter for Bankers Trust

      Bankers Trust Company, the largest bank in Iowa, has changed to a state charter. The Iowa Division of Banking approved the bank’s application for a state charter effective Dec. 31, 2009. Suku Radia, CEO and president of the $2.5 billion bank, said the move will save the bank about $250,000 per year.
