Grand Forks, N.D.-based Alerus hired Kelly Elkin as a commercial banking executive specializing in nonprofit and government lending in Minnetonka, Minn.
Elkin has more than 35 years of experience in financial services, with expertise in government and nonprofit lending, capital markets, grant-making and the Community Reinvestment Act.
Elkin previously spent seven years as a manager of government and nonprofit banking at Evansville, Ind.-based Old National Bank.
