Iowa-based Ames National Corp. CFO John L. Pierschbacher expects to retire next summer.
Chief Accounting Officer Justin C. Clausen will become CFO along with the company’s principal financial and accounting officer when Pierschbacher retires on July 5.
Clausen joined Ames National in March 2020. A former senior accounting analyst with Des Moines-based Principal Financial Group, Clausen has also held financial roles with First National Bank of Omaha and a public accounting firm.
Mike Wilson, executive vice president of innovation & corporate services, was appointed EVP and chief lending officer. He has been employed by Ames National since September 2022, and previously served as CLO of Bankers Trust Co of Des Moines.
