Associated Bank announces executive changes

Green Bay, Wis.-based Associated Bank hired John Rent as a relationship manager in commercial real estate and Jayne Hladio as president of private wealth.

Rent, who is based in Minneapolis, previously worked for 23 years at Wells Fargo, most recently as director and CRE coverage officer for the Upper Midwest. A senior vice president, Rent has an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Carleton College, Northfield, Minn. 

An executive vice president, Hladio will assume her role for the $41 billion Associated Bank on Oct. 2. She succeeds John Thayer, who will continue as EVP, CEO of Associated Trust Company, N.A. and Chair of the Board for Associated Investment Services, Inc. 

Hladio, who will be based in Milwaukee, has more than 25 years of market expertise, most recently as president of Midland Wealth Management and Midland Trust Co. for U.S. markets. She has an MBA and Management Consulting Certification from Benedictine University, Lisle, Ill., and a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls.
