Carroll, Iowa-based Availa Bank hired Joel Falk as executive vice president of commercial banking.
Falk, who is based from the $1.5 billion bank’s Omaha LPO, has bachelor’s degrees in business administration and economics from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and an MBA from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, Seattle.
“Joel is a strong relationship builder and leader with a customer-focused style,” said Availa Bank President and CEO Jeff Scharfenkamp. “His knowledge of the market will enhance our presence in the Omaha community.”
