Bank Five Nine hires next president, CEO

Oconomowoc, Wis.-based Bank Five Nine hired Tim Schneider as its next president and CEO.

Schneider will join the organization in October as the $1.5 billion bank’s current president and CEO, Mark Mohr, prepares to retire early next year.

An experienced Wisconsin community banker, Schneider was most recently senior vice president at Green Bay, Wis.-based Nicolet National Bank. Before that, he was the CEO and co-founder of Investors Community Bank, Manitowoc. Investors was acquired by Nicolet last year.

Schneider said he was attracted to the bank because of its positive reputation. “I really like the communities that the bank serves,” he said. “I look forward to continuing the tradition of strong support in those areas, and to working with the bank’s outstanding team.”

Bank Five Nine Board Chair Bob Snyder said his bank hired Schneider after a national search.
