Bank Midwest donates $10K for Sioux Falls project

Spirit Lake, Iowa-based Bank Midwest donated $10,000 to support the Sioux Falls, S.D., Development Foundation’s Riverline District project.

The donation is through the bank’s Community Fund, which started in 2006 and meets annually to select grant recipients. “This type of project will not only benefit the immediate area, but it’s part of the reason Sioux Falls continues to rank above similarly sized communities when it comes to growth and overall livability,” said Bank Midwest Market President Rick Rysavy.

Bank Midwest has supported previous projects in Sioux Falls including landmark sculpture Arc of Dreams, social services organizations St. Francis House and Lake Avenue Ronald McDonald House along with the Volunteers of America Homeplace campaign.

“Sioux Falls is leading by example,” added Mary Kay Bates, president and CEO of the more than $1 billion Bank Midwest. “We’re pleased to be part of this vibrant community and look forward to seeing the vision for Riverline District come together.”
