Spirit Lake, Iowa-based Bank Midwest donated $10,000 to support the Fairmont (Minn.) Opera House safety and accessibility project.
The Opera House, which opened in 1902, hosts live performances of local and professional plays along with live music and arts performances. The venue is also used for local events and private receptions.
“Anyone alive in Fairmont today knows the Fairmont Opera House as the backbone of entertainment in our community and surrounding area,” said Bank Midwest Market President Kevin Pfingston. “The safety and accessibility project will bring important improvements to the building itself and make it more accessible to patrons now and well into the future.”
