Spirit Lake, Iowa-based Bank Midwest hired Kathy Thorson as executive vice president of client experience as the bank continues to grow in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Thorson has spent 40 years in banking, starting as a teller while attending Augustana University, Sioux Falls. She has worked in commercial and retail banking, bank operations and leadership, having served as market president for South Dakota and Iowa.
Thorson has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Augustana and an MBA from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion.
