Bankers’ Bank promotes Niesen to executive VP

Bankers’ Bank has promoted Jeff Niesen to executive vice president.

An employee for 27 years, Niesen started at the Madison, Wis., bank as an account representative in the operations department, as a closer and loan processor, and Fed funds and investment officer. In 2005, Niesen became a correspondent banker for Wisconsin and was promoted to manager of the department in 2014.

He became senior vice president in 2015 and took over leadership of residential mortgage and bank cards two years later. He began oversight of the bank’s wealth management team earlier this year.

Niesen has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

“Jeff is an important part of the executive leadership of Bankers’ Bank and this promotion recognizes his contribution and critical role in our continued success,” added CEO Brad Stamper.
