Bell Bank opens Phoenix-area branch

Fargo, N.D.-based Bell Bank recently opened a branch in downtown Glendale, Az.

The branch is Bell’s fourth in the Phoenix metro area, and offers retail banking, including mortgage services. Several branch employees are fluent in Spanish.

The building dates back to the early 20th century and is one of the few properties in Glendale listed on the National Register of Historic Places. “We are thrilled to continue expanding in the Phoenix metro,” said Kyle Kennedy, Bell Bank’s Phoenix president and Arizona banking director. “Glendale has seen a huge surge of population growth and has a big need for more convenient and customer-friendly banking solutions.”

Bell Bank hosted a grand opening from April 30 through May 2. The bank entered the Phoenix metro in 2019 by opening a branch in Chandler. Bell Bank opened its second branch in the area in 2020 in the Biltmore area of Phoenix.

Dee Jimenez, Bell Bank Mortgage’s producing area manager in Glendale, called the branch “a huge initiative. We wanted to make sure we could give all of our customers an opportunity to understand the lending process and hopefully make homeownership a reality for all.”
