Moore retiring as Dacotah Bank regional president

Brad Moore will retire as regional president of Dacotah Bank’s Mid-Dakota region at the end of May.

Moore is expected to become a senior advisor Jan. 1, 2022. At that time, Aberdeen Market President Kip Hansen will be promoted to regional president, and Director of Credit Administration Kristie Martin will become Dacotah Bank’s Aberdeen, S.D., market president.

Moore’s banking career began in August 1976 while obtaining his bachelor’s degree at Northern State University. Moore, who has mainly been a lender during his career, has served the Redfield, S.D., community for 25 years. He began his career with Dacotah Bank in Aberdeen in 2004 where he served as a loan officer, market president and regional president. 

Hansen, who graduated from South Dakota State University, began his banking career with Dacotah Bank in Watertown in 1995 and remained there for 21 years. He served as an ag lender and business banker before becoming the market president. He graduated from the South Dakota Agriculture and Rural Leadership program, Graduate School of Banking, and Dakota School of Banking. 

Martin, who has 14 years of banking experience, joined Dacotah Bank in 2014 as an internal audit specialist and has since served as a senior credit analyst, credit manager and director of credit administration. She graduated from Northern State University and later earned her master’s degree in finance and economics from West Texas AMU in 2020.
